Robo Planet is IIM-B cohort venture. It builds students’ critical thinking and analytical skills through hands-on learning. In collaboration with schools and organizations around the world, we continuously create new ways to enhance STEAM education and drive learning efforts to big success!

Programs
5 to 8 years
Paper Circuits are quick projects that engage students in basic circuits. Students learn basic connections, such as positive and negative terminals, LEDs, closed & open circuits. This project is a way to bridge science with art.
8 to 11 years
Here is simple way to make circuits, using breadboard. You can build multiple projects by understanding the conecpts of LEDs, battery, sensors and much more.
8+ to 15 years
Its a combination of circuit and coding. You can learn block programming using arduino. Here you will get exposure of software and hardware kit.

How do online classes work?Students log in through Zoom by clicking on a link distributed by email. Students share their screens while working.

What has the feedback been for online classes to-date?In a survey of parents shortly following the move to online classes, over 70% who had students in our classes either agreed or strongly agreed with the statement “My child learned at the same level as the in-person classes”. Over 95% of respondents to the same survey either agreed or strongly agreed with the statement “My child found it easy to connect with a tutor if there were any queries”. We’ve been really pleased with how well we’ve been able to adapt our classes to the online format, and in some ways the online format is actually better than our in-person classes!

Is your crash courses and camps are suitable for new students or experienced coders?All our courses and camps are suitable for almost all students.

What if my child has already studied some type of programming/coding - will this course be too basic for them?We cater for all levels of coding ability, and are always delighted to meet students who have already attended other coding courses or taught themselves some programming. Rest assured, students of any coding level will find plenty of challenges to keep them busy!

Is coding a good career?Yes! Coding is a good career as it is among the top paying opportunity. This sector being the most growing sector in India and globally, coding makes the most rewarding career in terms of money as well as the global want.

Are coding jobs in demand?Yes, coding jobs are in great demand especially post COVID-19. Considering the technological trend post pandemic, programming makes one of the most demanding jobs which can be done remotely.

How old does my child have to be?We work with students ages 8 and up.

What's makes your class different than other coding classes?We teach coding using the software and hardware kit, allowing our students to discover the solution independently.

What does my child learn?Our goal is to teach critical thinking, problem solving and instill a life-long love of learning and building. We help students develop grit and intellectual confidence, two character strengths that will aid students greatly in other STEAM-ER (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math - Electronics and Robotics) subjects. Our students learn the thought patterns and mindsets of programmers, including modeling, debugging, sequential thinking, top-down design, the design processes, test-driven development, and more.
